Having received the divine mandate to re-manifest Lokbhawan, Daddyji set out to explore the shrine. Though popular few centuries earlier, Lok-Bhawan, an abode of Jagadamba, located near Fatehpur, Larkipora, in Anantnag, Kashmir was now unknown and had fallen a victim to the ravages of time.
On his first visit, Daddy ji found that the shrine was completely ignored and dilapidated due to the lack of local potential and adversities in the local community. The Holy spring said to be blessed by Lord VISHNU, as revealed in the annals of archaeology etc & Kashmiri history, including Tawariq-e-Hassan, was little more than a murky water body in a cut-off / desolate region unknown to anyone outside the vicinity. Revealing his strenuous and energetic facets, Daddy ji demonstrated exemplary leadership to restore and develop the holy spring from a murky pore into a blooming, reflecting crystal clear lake, originating from the Holy spring.
The path to re-establishing Lok-Bhawan to its original glory wasn't a smooth one. As is wont with positive actions, negativities abound simultaneously. Some miscreants tried to usurp the shrine but Daddy ji Maharaj’s dedicated efforts and divine grace brought these to naught. A peaceful dharna comprising hundreds from the minority community was led by Daddyji for a few days at Anantnag. The then government had no alternative but to accept the obvious and recognize publicly that the said shrine is the property of "Ahal-Hanoodh" (Hindus) in conformity with the archeological and land records, upheld by the historical records dating back to the rule of King Lalitaditya. This peaceful, silent and lawful pursuit of all Hindus under the charismatic guidance of Daddy ji Mahraj was appreciated and lauded by the general public of Anantnag district, thereby establishing cordiality between two sections of the Kashmiri community.
The peaceful struggle provided publicity at large while Daddy ji’s writings and bhajans mentioning the Shrine and it’s significance drew number of seekers who would usually attend the annual function of "HAR-BAH" festival making it a spiritual hub where thousands of devotees would turn up for blessings.
Besides this, the conducting of kirtans and spiritual meetings was so interesting that almost every Saturday, there would be a sizeable gathering of students, disciples and seekers of truth, under the able stewardship of Daddy ji Maharaj.
In the meantime Daddy ji Mahraj along with his disciples went from village to village & door to door in collecting donation from public for development of the shrine by constructing dharamsalas and restoring the various temples & Bal-ganga, Narayan spring, Temple of Goddess Durga including restoration of the Mahakal Bhairav Mandir & north west top of the area identified by cluster of over-sized Deodar trees.
The annual function of "Harbah" Ashaad Shukla Paksh Dwadashi would be celebrated with great pomp and show and Daddyji along with the devotees would organize the festival after raising public donations from various districts of the valley. Keeping in view his future plans, Daddy ji constituted a Prabandhak (organizing) committee of locals with Late Shri Soom Nath Veer as the first president of the committee for day-to-day running of the shrine.
It was here in this shrine of shrines, that Rev Daddyji established a women's wing named "Nari Kalyan Kendra" for upliftment and betterment of Kashmiri Pandit ladies in both social and spiritual manner, besides offering genuine aid to deserving families for their day to day needs.
This need got an impetus, when after the culmination of the Havan at Tirath Raj, a lady along with her children approached Mahatma-ji insisting on attention to the adverse plight in which she, along with her children, was stuck-up. Daddy ji Mahraj got moved and convened a meeting of the members expressing that the need of the time was to attend to the Chetan part (service of jeeva) & not only attend the Jad worship.
